A reversing contactor joins two contactors together mechanically and electrically, enabling it to change a current's polarity and direction. This 3-pole reversing contactor is part of Schneider Electric's TeSys K range and is an ideal choice for motors that need forward/reverse and left/right commands. It's been rated for utilisation categories AC-1, AC-3 and AC-4, so you can use it for both non-inductive and slightly inductive loads such as those found in resistive furnaces and heaters. It can also be used with all types of self-starting squirrel-cage induction motors.

How do you mount this component?
To mount this reverse contactor, simply fix it securely onto any plate or flat surface using the screws supplied. For high-volume systems, it's also possible to rail mount it using the same equipment. Its miniature size means it fits into tight spaces.
